This Privacy Policy explains how VT Software Limited ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data in connection with the Duamilk website and service at duamilk.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Data we collect

• Account and order data: name, email address, billing details, order reference.
• Uploaded images: the photographs you upload for processing.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps.
• Communications: messages you send us by email or contact form.

2. How we use it and lawful bases

• To provide the Service and process your images — performance of a contract.
• To process payments and provide receipts — performance of a contract and legal obligation.
• To respond to support requests — legitimate interests.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and comply with the law — legitimate interests and legal obligation.
• To send service emails relating to your purchase — contractual necessity.

3. Image processing

Images you upload are processed in order to return an edited result. They are stored only as long as necessary to provide the Service and are deleted automatically after a short retention window. We do not use your images to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Sharing

We share personal data only with processors who help us run the Service, including our hosting provider, payment processor, email provider and analytics provider. All processors are bound by written data-processing terms. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

Account and order records are kept for six years to meet HMRC and accounting obligations. Uploaded images are deleted within 30 days of processing. Support correspondence is kept for two years.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
